Camp over and travels so far

Well camp is all over, it is a relief in some ways as we are both so tired from all the work, but we are going to miss our camp and our friends.
The last day of camp was on Friday and then there was a staff breakfast on Saturday morning which gave us an opportunity to say goodbye to everyone. As we are so tired after camp we didn't do much for the rest of the weekend except for go shopping and buy a digital camera so hopefully we will be able to upload some photos for you.
Monday was spent packing up our apartment and running some errands. Tuesday and Wednesday were spent seeing the sights of Washington DC. We went up the Washington Monument, visited the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (The Mint), the Holocaust Museum, Air and Space Museum, Smithsonian Castle, Natural History Museum, American history Museum, we also walked past the white house.
On Thursday we flew to New York, upon arrival we walked along 5th Avenue. Today we when on a cruise around Manhattan Island, so we got a good look at the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge, we also visited Wall Street and the hole that was the world trade center. Then this evening we got Standing Room tickets for the Phantom of the Opera which was fantastic, we really enjoyed it.
We have a couple more days in New York before we fly to Orlando to go to Disney world.

I have started a new job full time which is keeping me very busy. Have fun on your travels. Look forward to your updates.
