Eastern Canada

Just a quick message to let you all know where we are, we are currently in Kingston although later tonight we will be in Toronto and tomorrow we will flying out to London and then on to Nairobi.
Our time in Eastern Canada has been enjoyable, visiting Toronto, Niagara Falls, Ottawa, Montreal and Kingston. A lot of the time in Toronto was spent organising things for Africa - most things are now organised although we will be doing some last minute things tomorrow, we did however visit Casa Loma - Toronto's castle and get some great views of the city.
Niagara Falls - Amazing what else can we say, We did the Maid of the Mist and Behind the Falls tours.
Ottawa - A city a bit like Canberra, not the largest city in Canada but the Capital. We did a walking tour of the City run by the HI(Hostelling International) and visited Parliment House. The HI was housed in an old jail so it was a different place to say.
Montreal - French Canada. Very different after Ontario, the traffic signs are different and catching the bus without french was difficult, we fortunately did not get lost though. A city with lots of history and Carriage rides.
Kingston - Rain except for today. We have spent 2 nights in Kingston on the Alexander Henry an old coast guard ship that is run as a B & B in Summer but the Maritime Museum. Yesterday we visited the Museum and then went shopping. Today because it was fine finally we went on a Cruise through some of the 1000+ Islands on the St Lawrence river.
